Dr. Ramani C V is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive Surgeon working at Manipal Hospitals, Whitefield, Bengaluru. Has previously worked at trauma centre HOSMAT HOSPITAL, NARAYANA HOSPITAL.

His expertise is in the field of Reconstruction for Cancer defects with Microsurgical reconstruction especially head and neck, breast and extremities. He specializes in the treatment for hand injuries and reconstruction as a holistic approach, Cosmetic surgeries and breast reconstruction. His special area of interest is in the evolving field of Lymphedema management.

He worked as a Specialist Resident for a year at the globally renowned Cancer treatment centre - TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, MUMBAI and was trained under the able leadership of Dr. Prabha Yadav who is acclaimed with major reconstructive procedures.

He also had the opportunity to visit ASAN MEDICAL CENTRE, SEOUL as an International Visiting Scholar to learn the nuances of microsurgery and at SAMSUNG MEDICAL CENTRE, SEOUL for breast aesthetic surgeries.

His practice beginned initially with general plastic surgery-burns, management of wound, hand injuries, major limb trauma, faciomaxillary surgery and expanding to treat patients with complex Post-Cancer resection defects who were treated with Microsurgical reconstruction-free flaps.

His experience in Cosmetic surgery revolves around Liposuction and body contouring, Abdominoplasty, Gynaecomastia, Fat grafting, breast reduction/augmentation, facial rejuvenation with fat, fillers and botox.

With evolving interest and treatment strategies recently the management of Lymphedema of extremeties – hand and leg, has been an integral part of his practice with the latest treatment options.
